This Position
Please be aware that this role includes exposure to confronting and distressing material involving child abuse, child death and family and domestic violence fatalities.
The Assessment Officer
supports the Office of the Ombudsman's vision of promoting child-safe practices and strengthening organisational understanding of the Reportable Conduct Scheme.




undertakes assessment and case management activities relating to Reportable Conduct Scheme matters and contributes to the Ombudsman's child death and family and domestic violence fatality review functions.
provides administrative and assessment support through the management of enquiries, notifications and casework activities.
contributes to the timely identification and escalation of risk issues relating to the Reportable Conduct Scheme, child deaths and family and domestic violence fatalities.
