WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?
We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to manage and enhance the State Patient Assistance Transport Scheme (PATS), a vital program supporting equitable access to healthcare for rural South Australians.

WHO ARE WE?
The RSS is a directorate of the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network, that delivers a range of enabling services, such as workforce planning and recruitment, digital health, finance, infrastructure, procurement, and clinical governance support.
Our purpose is to strengthen and sustain healthcare delivery in rural and regional areas by providing consistent, efficient, and specialist support functions to the six regional local health networks (LHNs) across South Australia.
We work across 37 regional, rural and remote SA locations, or in the RSS's three Adelaide offices.

Do you have strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build productive relationships and influence outcomes across government, health services, clinicians, and community partners?
Are you skilled in analysing data, managing budgets, and providing expert advice to support informed decision-making, policy development, and service planning?
Do you have a passion for improving equity of access to healthcare and delivering responsive, client-focused services that meet the needs of rural, remote, and Aboriginal communities across South Australia?

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?
You will...
Lead the strategic and operational management of the State Patient Assistance Transport Scheme (PATS), ensuring efficient, equitable, and client-focused service delivery across South Australia.
Provide expert advice on PATS policy, funding, and program performance, supporting informed decision-making and continuous service improvement.
Drive the review, reform, and implementation of policies, procedures, and service models to align with best practice, government priorities, and the needs of rural communities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with health services, government agencies, clinicians, and community stakeholders to improve access to healthcare and patient transport outcomes.
Use data, analysis, and reporting to identify trends, inform service planning, and support initiatives that reduce the need for rural patients to travel for healthcare.
