About the position
As we head into our busy function season,Wests currentlyhaveseveralcasualopportunitiesfor customer-focused individuals to join their NEX events team.This role will have youprovidinga superior quality service over a variety of events,such asgaladinners,corporate events,schoolformals,concerts, conferences,exhibitions,and many more.Key responsibilities includebut are not limited to:
Set up and break down of functions
Preparation and servicebeverages
Table service for meals and beverages
Operation of tills and cash handling
Clearing tables and cleaning duties
Assistingguests with event inquiries before, during and after functions
Working closely with the team to ensure smooth operations and a memorable experience for our patrons.
This position will require availability on Fridayand Saturdayevenings,withsomeavailabilitythroughout theremainderof the week.
Certificationsrequired: RSA

About you
You are a team player that knows how to follow directions and think on your feet when needed.
Ideal candidates will have prior experience within the customer service industrygained within a restaurantor functionenvironment.
You will have exceptional customer service skills, a positive and enthusiastic attitude,
and the ability toretainyourhigh standardsin a busy position.
