Job Description Project Info
ACCIONA leads the Alkimos Seawater Desalination Plant, a $2.8 billion alliance with Water Corporation and Jacobs.
The Perth project will deliver 150 million litres of drinking water a day from ****, securing supply for more than 2.5 million Western Australians while targeting net-zero emissions across construction and operation.
About Opportunity
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will coordinate quality activities across the Alkimos Seawater Desalination Plant to keep delivery aligned with the project Quality Management Plan and QMS.
You will manage ITP submittals, NCRs and inspection schedules, and apply your welding inspection expertise to oversee fabrication and mechanical quality across the build.
Key accountabilities for the position will be:
Coordinate quality activities to meet contract and Alliance requirements
Maintain the QMS to ensure supplier and internal compliance
Manage ITP submittals and address client comments
Investigate NCRs and drive corrective actions to closure
Inspect welding and fabrication work for compliance
Audit sub-contractors and suppliers against quality standards
Coordinate inspections, NOIs and completion walkdowns
Required Skills and Competencies
Minimum 5 years' experience
CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector certification
Quality Management System Audit
ISO**** training (preferred)
Experience in a quality role on infrastructure or construction projects
Sound knowledge of ITP, NCR and audit processes
Strong communication skills across client and site teams
