Your Role

Senior Associate or Associate in the TMT practice, based in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne, specializing in cyber, data and AI law.
n
Responsibilities
n
n
Advising clients on cyber preparedness and incident response.
n
Managing complex data matters (privacy, spam, surveillance) and related transactions.
n
Designing and implementing data and AI governance frameworks.
n
Conducting regulatory investigations and advising on enforcement action.
n
Collaborating with other practice groups to support cross‐functional client needs.
n
Delivering executive‐level advice to boards and senior management.
n
n
Qualifications
n
n
Experience advising on cyber preparedness and incident response.
n
Hands‐on experience with complex data, privacy, spam and surveillance issues.
n
Experience in regulatory investigations or enforcement matters.
n
Knowledge of AI governance and transactions is desirable.
n
Strong technical background and academic credentials.
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build client relationships.
n
Track record managing multiple, large matters and leading teams.
n
