Production Manager | Manufacturing

An established manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead daily operations within a reliable and well-established production environment.
n
This role is ideal for a hands-on people leader who enjoys driving production outcomes, supporting frontline teams, improving operational performance, and maintaining a strong safety culture. You will work closely with the State Manager and play a key role in ensuring production schedules, workforce planning, and operational efficiency targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead and manage daily manufacturing operations
n
Coordinate production schedules and machine utilisation
n
Allocate labour resources effectively across production activities
n
Support and develop supervisors, team leaders and production staff
n
Drive continuous improvement initiatives
n
Monitor productivity, quality and operational performance
n
Ensure compliance with WHS, safety and company procedures
n
Participate in production planning and workflow optimisation
n
Collaborate with maintenance and logistics functions
n
Provide operational leadership across a team of approximately ***** employees
n

About You
n
n




Previous experience as a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Operations Manager or similar
n
Strong people leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
n
Experience managing production schedules and workforce planning
n
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and machinery
n
Strong WHS and operational compliance knowledge
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
Ability to coach and develop frontline leaders
n
Continuous improvement mindset
n
Experience within plastics, packaging, injection moulding, industrial manufacturing or similar environments highly regarded
n
