Job Description
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of client projects, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and adherence to safety standards. We are ideally looking for a candidate who holds Aviation and/or Defence sector experience.

Key responsibilities include:

Project Delivery – Deliver projects across varied scopes and disciplines, meeting agreed success criteria.
n
Scope Development – Define project scope and assist with business case preparation and funding approvals.
n
Stakeholder Coordination – Engage with all relevant parties to capture inputs, restrictions, approvals and requirements.
n
Procurement Management – Manage tender preparation, bid analysis, and contract awards for consultants and contractors.
n
Contract Administration – Ensure compliance with contract terms, process payments, and manage changes.
n
Construction Oversight – Control site activities for safe and compliant delivery in collaboration with consultants and safety advisors.
n
Risk Management – Identify and mitigate project risks to minimise issues.
n
Quality Assurance – Maintain quality standards across design and construction phases.

Qualifications
n
We are seeking a proactive professional with strong technical and organisational skills. Essential qualifications and experience include:
n
n




Construction Experience – Proven track record in delivering construction projects, especially within the Aviation and/or Defence sector.
n
Technical Knowledge – Understanding of Australian building and Aviation standards.
n
Contract Expertise – Skilled in contractor management and contract administration.
n
Project Management – Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently across all lifecycle stages.
n
Stakeholder Engagement – Strong communication and consultation skills.
n
Compliance – Eligibility for an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC). Ability to achieve Australian Defence Baseline clearance would be highly regarded.
n
Software Skills – Proficiency in MS Project and Microsoft 365 Apps.
n
Independence – Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
n
