An exciting prospect has become available for an experienced and hands‐on Regional Maintenance Manager to join For Purpose Aged Care.
n
Supporting a portfolio of residential aged care homes across South East Victoria, you will play a key role in ensuring our homes remain safe, compliant, well‐maintained and welcoming environments for residents, families and employees.
n
Reporting to the State Maintenance Manager, this role combines leadership, maintenance expertise, project coordination and site support.
n
You'll work closely with Residential Managers, Maintenance Officers and contractors to deliver preventative and reactive maintenance programs, manage property‐related projects and support the commissioning of new homes.
n

THE ROLE:
n
n
Support sites to ensure preventative and reactive maintenance tasks are completed on time.
n
Provide leadership, guidance and hands‐on support to Maintenance Officers and site teams.
n
Manage and coordinate assigned CapEx and property improvement projects.
n
Ensure buildings, equipment and grounds remain safe, compliant and fit for purpose.
n
Support contractor management and site inductions.
n




Assist with commissioning new aged care homes and property handovers.
n
Drive compliance with Fire Safety, WHS and relevant building regulations.
n
Support aged care accreditation requirements and audit readiness.
n
Provide after‐hours support for maintenance escalations when required.
n

ABOUT YOU:
n
n
Experience in maintenance, facilities, property services or a similar role.
n
Previous experience in aged care, healthcare, retirement living or a multi‐site environment.
n
Strong understanding of preventative maintenance and building compliance requirements.
n
Experience managing contractors and maintenance projects.
n
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem‐solving skills.
n
Experience using maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office.
n
Trade qualification (Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry or similar) highly regarded.
n
Current driver's licence and willingness to travel across sites.
