We are a growing accounting firm located in Subiaco committed to providing high-quality accounting, taxation, and compliance services to our clients. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our friendly and collaborative team in a full-time capacity.

You will play a key role in delivering high-standard tax and accounting services across a diverse client base. We are looking for a self-motivated professional who is eager and willing to grow within a supportive team-oriented workplace.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Prepare and review complex financial statements, tax returns, and reconciliation across companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals
n
Providing tax planning and advice to clients
n
Reviewing outputs and managing workflow to ensure everything is on time and within budget
n
Manage client relationships proactively – understanding their needs, identifying opportunities and deliver outstanding client experience
n
Maintain technical knowledge across all statutory and regulatory requirements, ensuring work papers and client files meet our Practice compliance standards.

About you
n




You are a motivated and experienced accounting professional who is committed to delivering exceptional client service and maintaining high professional standards. To be successful in this role, you will bring:
n
n
CA, CPA or equivalent qualification and a relevant degree
n
5+ years of accounting experience in a public practice environment with exposure to complex entity structures
n
You have excellent attention to details and take pride of the quality of your own work
n
Proactive, good communicator and professional – you are able to build trust with clients and your team members as well as being able to represent the firm with professionalism in every interaction
n
Have ability to work as part of a team environment as well as the ability to work independently
n
Experience using Xero XPM, Xero Tax, Xero Workpapers, BGL/CAS and bookkeeping cloud-based applications is preferred.
