JS Careers is partnering with a well known, regulated enterprise to tighten, document, and uplift a complex hybrid setting spanning cloud and on‐prem.
n
This is a hands‐on fixed‐term contract role focused on optimisation, hardening, and leaving behind crystal clear documentation that keeps operations humming long after handover.

What you'll do
n
n
Review the current hybrid estate (on‐prem & cloud) and map architecture, configurations, dependencies, and SOPs.
n
Identify and implement improvements across performance, capacity, security, and cost (targeting *****% cloud savings).
n
Set alert thresholds and tighten monitoring across the stack.
n
Uplift infrastructure to meet evolving business and compliance needs; lead re‐platforming to Azure where appropriate.
n
Provide L3 support during the engagement, collaborating with internal teams and vendors.
n
Enable the team with high‐quality runbooks, diagrams, and training.
n

Success looks like

Documentation coverage: high‐fidelity runbooks, architecture diagrams, SOPs; alerts configured and actionable.
n
Stability & efficiency: fewer incidents and performance alerts; >99.9% availability; measurable cloud cost reduction.
n
Security posture: remediated vulnerabilities and controls aligned to ISO *****/regulated‐industry standards.
n




Knowledge transfer: clear enablement materials and positive feedback from the IT team.

What you bring
n
n
5+ years delivering and supporting multi‐site infrastructure in hybrid environments.
n
Solid networking fundamentals
(routers/switching/Wi
‐Fi; Cisco preferred).
n
Proven track record producing high‐quality system documentation and DR/BCP artefacts.
n
Comfortable leading infra projects, engaging stakeholders, and working under deadlines.
n
Certifications like
ITIL/CCNP/VCP/MCITP
are welcome.

The offer

Fixed Term Contract: 12 months

Location: Hybrid (CBD office location)
n
Impact: Own a discrete uplift program with clear milestones—infra review (first 6 weeks), optimisation plan (by month 3), final documentation & handover (by month 11).
