At Westhaven, we believe in whole-of-life support. We are looking for versatile Support Workers to join us in delivering high-quality, person-centred care across our diverse Adult Services.

Westhaven operates across multiple settings. Depending on the needs of our participants and your unique skill set, your role could be:
n
Community Focused: Based at our vibrant Dubbo Day Programs Centre, assisting in workshops, educational activities, and social outings.
n
Residential Focused: Providing essential daily living support within our accommodation services, helping participants live independently in a place they call home.
n
A Mix of Both: The best of both worlds – providing a seamless transition for participants from their morning routine at home to their afternoon activities in the community.
n
Competitive Pay: $***** to $***** per hour + shift/casual loadings and 12% super.
n

Supporting participants to meet the goals in their NDIS plans—whether that's learning a new skill, attending an appointment, or mastering a recipe at home.

Quality Care:Assisting with personal care and daily living tasks with dignity and respect.

Advocacy: Being a voice for our participants and ensuring their safety and wellbeing through accurate reporting and case notes.

A Positive Mindset: You are reliable, empathetic, and passionate about social justice.

Flexibility: Availability to work across a 24/7 roster (mornings, evenings, and sleepovers) is highly regarded, particularly for our residential and mixed-mode roles.
n
Resilience:Experience
supporting complex needs, mental health, or behaviours of concern is essential.
n
Compliance: A current NSW Driver's Licence, First Aid/CPR, WWCC, and NDISWC. You must also be willing to be listed on the Residential Care Workers Register (RCWR).
