An ASX listed Australian financial services group is standing up a new Fabric data platform and seeking a Data Engineer to build it. You will owns the data lake, warehouse and pipeline architecture the business runs its decisions on, with real scope to shape how it is built.

Microsoft Fabric and Power BI platform being built from the ground up
n
Migrating off Snowflake and Tableau
n
Terraform and Kubernetes across the broader engineering environment
n
AI enabled engineering is a genuine daily practice; it needs to be part of your workflow
n
Direct ownership of the group's core decisioning data ecosystem

What You'll Be Doing
n

Building and maintaining the data lake, warehouse and pipeline architecture
n
Ingesting, curating and standardising internal and third party data
n
Implementing governance frameworks including versioning and audit trails
n
Partnering directly with stakeholders across the business on their data needs
n
Piloting recent data driven capability as the platform matures
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
Experience building and owning data pipelines end to end -Microsoft Fabric and Power BI
n
Exposure to Snowflake and Tableau desirable
n
Demonstrable use of AI tools as part of your engineering workflow
n
Comfort operating independently with non technical stakeholders
n
Terraform and Kubernetes experience preferred
n
Experience in financial services or another regulated industry is an advantage
n
