We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Clinician (Max term Parental Leave Cover) to join our team, providing clinical support and supervision to the team and provide assessment and intervention to young people and families using a trauma-informed approach to enhance mental health and wellbeing outcomes.

This is a 12-month max term part-time parental leave cover contract role until July **** based in Hawthorn.
Renumeration:
Base salary, plus super and community service salary packaging benefits.
To support work-life balance,
we offer applicants the flexibility to work between
0.6EFT and 0.9EFT
, depending on their preferences and availability.
What you will be doing Key Responsibilities
Provide operational leadership and line management to the Team at headspace
Working within the Leadership team to manage rosters, oversee waitlists and demand management
Deliver individual, group and family support
Provide case management/care coordination to a small number of young people with complex and chronic risk
What you will bring Key selection criteria
Postgraduate qualifications in psychology and current registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist or Mental Health Social Worker
Demonstrated experience working in youth mental health, alcohol and other drugs, community or similar health services (minimum five years' experience)
Demonstrated high level of skill in clinical risk assessment and management, including assessing for risk of suicide, self-harm and other risk domains
Recognised qualifications/training and demonstrated experience in the provision of clinical supervision
Registered with AHPRA as a Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor, or ability to register within first six months of employment




Demonstrated ability to work creatively and respectfully with people from a diverse range of social, cultural and ethnic backgrounds, including LGBTIQA+, culturally and linguistically diverse, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
Compliance Requirements:
National Police Check, Working with Children Check
Evidence of the right to work in Australia and a valid Driver's Licence
