About the role:
A part-time, ongoing opportunity is now available for a Clinical Facilitator for Anaesthesia Assistants.
You will be required to work 19 hours per week by helping to provide clinical support and design educational initiatives to enhance the clinical skills, confidence, and professional development of Anaesthesia Assistants (AT).
You will be responsible for the implementation of evidence-based education programs that align with organisational goals and cater to individual learning requirements.
The role involves advancing the position of Anaesthesia assistants to ensure all meet the department's and hospital's ongoing competencies and learning requirements per PSO8 requirements and all hospital-based learning requirements.
Internally, this position may also be known and/or referred to as: Anaesthesia Assistant - Clinical Facilitator (AT).
What you'll achieve:
Demonstrate analytical skills in assessing and evaluating health information
Conduct comprehensive education programs to promote ongoing education for the Anaesthesia Assistants
Provide mentoring and supervision to Anaesthesia Assistants
Classification for this position is in accordance with Award 04 - Health and Allied Services.
Depending on experience and qualifications, this will range from TF14 (Anaesthetic Technician Grade 3) to TF18 (Anaesthetic Technician Grade 4), $76,****** to $99,****** per annum, pro rata for part-time, plus superannuation.
Your skills and experience:
Demonstrated commitment to ongoing personal and career development, as evidenced in a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) record/Professional Practice Portfolio (PPP)
Digital competence using clinical information systems, Microsoft Office, data management and EMR
Registration with Australian Anaesthesia Allied Health Practitioners (AAAHP)
