HammondCare Home Care is currently looking for Carers to join our team in Melbourne for North - West on a casual basis with potential to be permanent part time.
n
The successful applicant for North - West team will be caring for clients living in suburb Moonee ponds, Fawkner, Sunshine, Preston, Kings Park, Derrimut, Essendon, Glenroy, etc.
n
The candidates must be available to work on Thursday and Friday and should be comfortable to drive upto 1 hour as a travel time.
n
About the role
n
You'll provide essential, practical care for older people, supporting them to live independently in their own homes and genuinely improving their quality of life. This includes not only day-to-day care but also building meaningful relationships and offering companionship. The role requires travel to clients' homes using your own car (you'll be paid $0.99 per km plus paid travel time).

In return for your expertise, we offer:

About you
n
n
you're a people-person who is patient and solutions-focused
n
you have previous experience in aged or community care, or are looking to start your career in aged care
n
you have a valid Driver's Licence and access to an insured, reliable car (min. Third Party Property Insurance)
n
ideally, you'll have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support. If you're not currently qualified and would like to be, then we can help .
n
you'll be adaptable around meeting the changing needs of home care clients
n
n
