The Role

We are seeking an experienced Application Specialist to join a high-performing delivery and business applications team.
n
This is a hands-on role focused on configuring, optimising, and supporting enterprise applications to meet evolving business needs. You will play a key role in translating requirements into configured solutions, providing platform expertise, validating outcomes, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
n
The ideal candidate will bring strong application configuration experience, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and a proven track record of delivering business-focused solutions across enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Configure and optimise application capabilities to support business requirements and operational objectives.
n
Analyse business processes and requirements to identify application configuration opportunities.
n
Provide subject matter expertise on platform functionality, capabilities, constraints, and best practices.
n
Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and delivery teams to design and implement application solutions.
n
Support solution demonstrations, walkthroughs, and stakeholder engagement activities.
n
Participate in testing, validation, and quality assurance activities to ensure configured solutions meet requirements.
n
Assist with troubleshooting, issue investigation, and resolution across application environments.
n
Support ongoing platform enhancements, configuration changes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
n
Maintain application configuration documentation, process guides, and support materials.
n
Provide advice and recommendations on platform capabilities and optimisation opportunities.
n
Work closely with project and support teams to ensure successful solution delivery and adoption.
n
Contribute to release, deployment, and change management activities where required.
n

What You'll Need

Experience as an Application Consultant, Functional Consultant, Application Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.
n
Strong experience with application configuration and business application support.
n
Proven ability to translate business requirements into effective configured solutions.
n
Strong functional analysis and requirements interpretation skills.
n
Experience providing platform expertise and stakeholder guidance on system capabilities and limitations.
n
Experience supporting testing, solution validation, and business acceptance activities.
n
Robust troubleshooting, problem-solving, and issue resolution capabilities.
n
Experience working with business stakeholders, SMEs, and delivery teams.
n
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
n
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality outcomes.

Desirable Skills

Experience working with SaaS, ERP, CRM, HRIS, or enterprise business platforms.
n
Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery environments.
n
Knowledge of business process improvement and solution optimisation techniques.

Experience supporting change management and user adoption activities.
n
Exposure to release management and application lifecycle processes.
n
Experience working within enterprise-scale transformation or digital programs.
n
Understanding of integration concepts and enterprise application ecosystems.
