Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating, scheduling and implementing short‐term drilling, blasting and ancillary mine plans to achieve the operational plan in a safe and cost‐effective manner.
n
The Underground Drill and Blast Engineer will work closely with the Scheduling Engineer to coordinate production activities and ensure alignment with weekly and monthly production plans.
n
This hands‐on role involves inspecting and assessing underground production areas, liaising with survey and geology departments, and providing technical support to underground supervisors and crew members.
n
The role includes daily and weekly data management for reporting, blast vibration monitoring and notifications, and technical input into large‐scale production plans.
n
Mt Charlotte utilizes three different mining methods, offering continuous technical growth for an engineer seeking new challenges in underground engineering.

Qualifications
n
n
Experience in a similar underground position.
n
Proficiency in mine design software, with Deswik preferred.
n
Experience in a production engineering role with exposure to underground ventilation.
n
Residence in the Goldfields or willingness to relocate to the Goldfields region for this residential site.
n




Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering.
n
Advanced level in Microsoft Excel and Word.
n
Western Australian Underground Supervisors Certificate of competency, or ability to obtain it, preferred.
n
Dangerous Goods Security Card or proof of application, preferred.
n
Current unencumbered Western Australian "C" Class Driver's Licence.
n
Strong leadership skills and experience leading a diverse team of new‐to‐industry engineers.
n
Ability to hold oneself and others accountable to their roles and responsibilities.
