We are seeking an Associate Environmental Scientist / Engineer (Contaminated Land) to join our Sydney team. This role is ideal for a senior skilled who enjoys mentoring junior team members while continuing to develop their own technical and project leadership capability within a global consultancy.
n
You'll be supported by experienced technical and project leaders and will play a key role in delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver contaminat
n
ed land assessments and prepare high-quality interpretive reports
n
Undertake environmental assessments, planning, and risk assessments
n
Support fieldwork, including soil, water, and air sampling across project sites
n
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
n
Support and mentor junior team members
n
About You
n
Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
n
Certified Environmental Practitioner
n
12+ years' experience in contaminated land, PFAS, and hazardous materials
n
Well-developed report writing skills with excellent attention to detail
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
n
Proven ability to work within multidisciplinary teams
n
Strong project and time management capabilities
n
Willingness to travel for short-term fieldwork assignments
n
Current driver's licence and ability to undertake field-based work
n
