Job Description
n
The Finance Manager will be responsible for the following but not be limited to:
n
n
Coordinate month‐end and year‐end financial close processes
n
Oversee and review timely reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts each reporting period
n
Apply accounting standards and internal controls to maintain accurate and reliable financial reporting
n
Review and lodge GST and PAYG returns in collaboration with the Group Tax Accounting team
n
Lead statutory audit processes (internal and external) and liaise with external advisors
n
Support budgeting and forecasting activities with operational leaders and the Senior Financial Controller
n
Analyse financial results and communicate reports across the organisation, with a focus on key KPIs
n




Assist with financial modelling for recent business opportunities and strategic projects
n
Provide training and development for direct reports
n
Contribute to ad hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives
n

The Successful Applicant
n
n
Strong attention to detail
n
Solid technical accounting knowledge, particularly IFRS
n
Understanding of monthly management reporting cycles
n
Knowledge of financial accounting processes and internal controls
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
Experience using an ERP
n
Ability to work with stakeholders across all management levels
n
Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills
n
Adaptable and flexible in a changing environment
n
Ability to prioritise workload to meet KPIs
n
Strong analytical and problem‐solving abilities
n
