A collaborative and forward-thinking Managed Service Provider based in Brisbane CBD is seeking an experienced Level 3 Senior Engineer to join their growing technical team.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
n
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will act as a senior technical escalation point while also contributing to infrastructure design, cloud migrations, security projects and network transformations.
n
You will:
n
n
Lead and support Microsoft 365 and Azure infrastructure projects
n
Deliver and maintain secure Azure environments and cloud migrations
n
Design and implement Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco, Juniper SRX firewall deployments, including full replacements and configuration
n
Configure and manage IPsec tunnels and secure connectivity solutions
n
Support and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP,



routing and switching environments
n
Work across switching technologies (Cisco, Aruba, HPE, Dell, FortiSwitch)
n
Automate tasks and streamline operations using PowerShell and Python
n
Operate within structured ITIL-based service environments
n
Utilise PSA/RMM tools including Autotask, N-Central and ConnectWise
n
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation
n
n
This role balances project delivery, technical leadership, and high-level escalation support within an MSP environment.
n
n
5+ years' experience within an MSP environment
n
Strong specialisation in Microsoft 365 and Azure infrastructure
n
CCNA certification (or equivalent networking capability)
n
Advanced experience deploying and configuring firewalls
n
Strong knowledge of IPsec tunnels, DNS, DHCP and core networking principles
n
Experience across enterprise switching platforms (Cisco, Aruba, HPE, Dell or FortiSwitch)
n
Experience supporting and delivering cloud migrations
n
Strong
scripting/automation
skills (PowerShell and/or Python)
n
Experience working within ITIL-aligned environments
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
n
Additional Microsoft or Azure certifications
n
Networking certifications
n
Experience leading technical workshops or client solution discussions
n
