The Role
n
We are seeking an experienced Avaloq Developer to join a high-performing banking and wealth technology team.
n
This is a hands-on development role focused on designing, customising, enhancing, and supporting Avaloq-based banking solutions. You will play a key role in translating business requirements into technical solutions, developing Avaloq components, integrating enterprise systems, and supporting critical banking and wealth management platforms throughout the software development lifecycle.
n
The ideal candidate will bring strong Avaloq ICE development experience, expertise across Avaloq modules and scripting, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions within complex financial services environments.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
n
Develop and customise Avaloq components including scripts, packages, workflows, screens, and interfaces.
n
Design, build, and enhance Avaloq modules across:
n
Portfolio Management
n
Payments
n
Trading
n
Accounting
n
Perform parameterisation, configuration, and system integration within the Avaloq ecosystem.
n
Develop and maintain reports, data extraction solutions, and data warehouse integrations.
n




Build and support Avaloq ICE (Integrated Core Engine) solutions.
n
Develop and maintain Avaloq Scripts, Packages, Data Dictionary objects, Workflows, and Rule Engine configurations.
n
Implement order validations, context actions, reporting solutions, and business process enhancements.
n
Design and develop API integrations using Open APIs and Web Services.
n
Support end-of-day (EOD) processes, fee engines, and batch processing activities.
n
Collaborate with business analysts, architects, testers, and business stakeholders throughout project delivery.
n
Support release management, upgrades, system deployments, and production implementations.
n
Perform unit testing and provide SIT/UAT support.
n
Investigate and resolve defects, incidents, and production issues.
n
Provide post-go-live support, application maintenance, and ongoing system enhancements.
n
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and development best practices.
n
What You'll Need
n
Solid experience as an Avaloq Developer within banking, wealth management, or financial services environments.
n
Extensive hands-on experience with Avaloq ICE (Integrated Core Engine) development.
n

Strong understanding of Avaloq parameterisation and configuration.

Knowledge of PL/SQL and Oracle database development.

Experience integrating Avaloq with enterprise applications using APIs and Web Services.
n
Strong understanding of EOD processing, fee engines, and data extraction frameworks.

Experience within private banking, wealth management, or investment management environments.

Knowledge of regulatory compliance and financial services processes.

Experience supporting enterprise-scale banking transformation programs.
n
Familiarity with cloud technologies and up-to-date integration patterns.
