A$140,******/yr - A$170,******/yr

Join our Downer Professional Services team and play a key role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia's future.
n
Downer Professional Services is comprised of two business units, our Technical, Advisory, and Capability consulting practice and Team Downer, a major service partner to Defence. Together, we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for our clients in Defence and National Security.
n
We currently have an opportunity for a Test and Evaluation (T&E;) Practitioner to join the Land C4 Program.
n
What You'll Do
n
n
Drafting, reviewing and maintaining Test and Evaluation Strategy (TES), Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) and T&E; related artifacts and engaging with various stakeholders.
n
Test and evaluation, certification and systems assurance, and T&E; in the One Defence Capability System (ODCS).
n
Preview Test and Evaluation (PT&E;), Developmental Test and Evaluation (DT&E;), Acceptance Test and Evaluation (AT&E;), Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E;) and In-Service Test & Evaluation (In-Service T&E;).
n
T&E; planning, management & reporting, technical and professional advice.
n
Risk management and Verification and & Validation (V&V;), and undertaking system T&E; or trial tasks and draft T&E; Reports.
n
Understanding of Defence T&E; framework,



policies, processes and plans, and familiarity with CASG T&E; Systems Engineering policy.

What You'll Bring
n
n
Relevant and recent T&E; experience within the Defence industry
n
Good understanding of Defence T&E; Systems Engineering concepts;
n
Understanding of the One Defence Capability System (formerly the Capability Life Cycle)
n
Previous & current experience and thorough understanding of T&E; policies.
n
Current/active T&E; accreditation (preferred)
n
n
Due to the nature of the work, you are required to currently hold and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) or higher Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth. In some instances, compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may also be an inherent requirement.
n
