Salt has partnered with one of the leading Australian insurance companies that is looking for an Application Support Specialist.
n
n
6 months contract offering 746 a day + super;
n
Hybrid working arrangement, office based in Parramatta
n
n
In this role you will support efficient and effective application development initiatives, ensuring alignment with business technical needs and adherence to service level agreements through continuous improvement strategies.
n
Responsibilities:
n
n
Maintain effective governance and reporting regimes for the IT application portfolio to ensure alignment with business needs and stakeholder understanding;
n
Manage third-party applications, assist with incident management;
n
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to deliver consistent service levels;
n
Provide expert consultancy and support for application development, especially during major incidents, to meet business needs effectively;
n
Handle complex issues, escalate when necessary, and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
n
n
Work Experience:
n
Necessary Work Experience includes:
n
n
3+ years of experience with application support;
n
Experience managing third-party applications;
n
Experience with incident management;
n




Service Now experience or knowledge would be beneficial
n
n
Qualifications:
n
Preferred Qualifications include:
n
n
Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or related field.
n
n
