Morgan McKinley are partnering with a leading ASX-listed Property Firm, who is seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Officer to join their team on a 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract to cover parental leave.

You will report to the Senior Compliance Manager and partner with Auditors, Regulators and various internal stakeholders. The business offers hybrid working (min 3 days) in the Sydney CBD and is looking for someone to join as soon as possible!

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Drive strong compliance practices across the group, simplifying complex information to provide transparent, actionable advice to diverse internal stakeholders.

Support the ongoing evolution, implementation, and monitoring of compliance frameworks aligned with Australian regulations.
n
Actively identify, assess, and track key regulatory and compliance risks,



including AFS licensing, real estate licensing, and privacy.
n
Coordinate compliance reviews, control assurance processes, and internal/external audits to identify key areas for operational improvement.
n
Oversee critical outsourced service providers across AML, registries, property management, and IT.
n

Requirements
n
n
7 years+ of robust risk and compliance experience, preferably drawn from a funds management, asset management, or property background.
n
Proficient in utilizing enterprise risk management systems to support compliance frameworks (experience with Protecht or Workiva is highly regarded).
n
Previous experience with Complaints, Incidents, Reporting and Attestations.
n
Outstanding interpersonal skills with the personality and drive to build positive relationships and interface confidently with stakeholders.
n
A highly organised, proactive individual who can multitask under pressure and is willing to "roll up their sleeves" to deliver exceptional outcomes.
