Lead Architect

Grade: *****
n Salary range: $149,739-$173,174 + superannuation and leave loading
n Duration: temporary full time role for up to 18 months
n Location: Hybrid with an in-office requirement 2 days a week in Sydney, McKell. This may be subject to change in line with DCS workplace policies.

Responsibilities
n
n
Lead end-to-end solution architecture for the DR NOCC program and support PSN Core relocation initiatives.
n
Own solution design integrity across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and strategy.
n
Develop high-level and detailed solution designs to support procurement, implementation and delivery.
n
Provide architectural leadership and governance through ARB and eDA engagement.
n
Manage complex stakeholder relationships across government, vendors and delivery partners.
n
Provide expert technical advice to senior stakeholders on risks, dependencies and delivery feasibility.
n
Support delivery assurance by ensuring solutions meet agreed timelines, quality and performance expectations.

Qualifications
n
n
Essential Security Clearance:



minimum Baseline Security clearance within six months to work with sensitive government and critical communications information.
n
Extensive experience leading solution architecture for large-scale, complex infrastructure or critical systems programs.
n
Proven ability to design and govern end-to-end solutions in multi-vendor environments.
n
Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at executive level.
n
Deep understanding of architecture governance, standards and design assurance processes.
n
Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously and provide authoritative technical direction.
n

Nice to have
n
n
Experience working in government and/or critical infrastructure environments.
n
Exposure to
telecommunications,
network operations or public safety systems.
n
Experience supporting major procurement activities or large transformation programs.
n
Familiarity with NSW Government architecture governance forums such as eDA and ARB.
