Principal or Director - Systems Engineering & Safety Assurance

We are pleased to be exclusively partnering with a leading Systems Engineering & Safety Assurance consultancy to recruit a senior leader for its growing VIC division. Working alongside an established leadership team, this role will contribute to the collective leadership, performance and growth of the SESA business, with a particular focus on business development, client engagement and market expansion across a range of civil infrastructure sectors. This opportunity is suited to a Director, Associate Director or Principal Consultant looking to make a strategic impact within a specialist consultancy.

Duration: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: $200,000 - $300,000 + Super (negotiable)

Responsibilities
n
Lead the delivery of systems engineering and safety assurance services across complex infrastructure projects, applying a holistic, end-to-end systems approach.
n
Provide technical leadership across systems engineering, integration, requirements management, V&V;, safety assurance (an appreciation of RAM and Human Factors will be highly desirable also).
n
Work within a collaborative leadership team, contributing to the performance, strategy, and growth of the VIC SESA business.
n
Drive business development and client engagement, including identifying opportunities, leading proposals and growing key accounts - helping the company expand into a range of market sectors.
n
Support team growth through mentoring,



capability development and fostering a high-performance culture.
n
Assist with managing / mentoring a small team of direct reports (SESA Engineers).
n
Required Experience
n
Qualification in Engineering or related discipline.
n
Strong knowledge of systems engineering frameworks and assurance standards, including ISO ***** and EN *********.
n
Familiar with INCOSE Framework (Preferably CSEP or ASEP).
n
Broader appreciation of disciplines such as RAM and Human Factors.
n
Proven history of winning work in key infrastructure markets such as Transport, Energy, Transmission, Water/Utilities, Data Centres, Aviation/Airports.
n
Established relationships with decision-makers across organisations such as VIDA, DoT, MTM, V/Line, SRLA and Tier 1 contractors will be highly regarded.
n
Solid proposal, tender and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at senior level.
n
