As part of the continued expansion of our Early Phase Unit (EPU), we're seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Project Delivery & Operations to lead the delivery of innovative Phase I clinical trials, inspire a multidisciplinary team, and help shape the future of one of Australia's leading clinical trial organisations.

Your Role in Our Future
n
As Senior Manager, Project Delivery & Operations, you'll provide leadership and oversight across a portfolio of clinical trials, ensuring studies are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with sponsor, regulatory and business requirements. You'll lead a multidisciplinary project team of Clinical Trial Coordinators & Administrators to drive performance across quality, timelines and budgets, and act as a key link between sponsors, investigators and operational teams.

This is a highly visible role where you'll play a critical part in supporting study delivery, driving continuous improvement and contributing to the ongoing growth of our Early Phase Unit.

Key Responsibilities;
n
n
Lead the end-to-end delivery of clinical trials from start-up through to close-out.
n
Manage and mentor a team of clinical trial professionals, fostering accountability, collaboration and high performance.
n
Oversee study timelines, quality metrics, budgets and compliance requirements.
n
Build strong relationships with sponsors, investigators, vendors and internal stakeholders.
n
Drive recruitment and screening performance to support study milestones.
n
Monitor project financials and proactively identify and manage risks.
n
Support operational improvements and lead change initiatives within the team.
n
n
This will be a full-time position based at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Nedlands.
n
Your Experience
n
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience from either clinical research, health, academic, sponsor or CRO settings and have a passion for operational excellence and collaboration. Along with this your application must also demonstrate;
n
n
A tertiary qualification in Science, Health Science or a related field.
n
Strong end-to-end project
management/coordination
experience.
n
Demonstrated leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring and supporting high-performing teams.
n
Extensive knowledge of clinical trial regulations and ICH-GCP.
n
Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trusted relationships.
n
Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience managing budgets and competing priorities.
n
