Job Description
n
The role is responsible for the following:
n
n
Prepare management, statutory and shareholder reports for Australian entities
n
Manage reporting templates and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
n
Oversee reporting timelines and review business unit reporting packages.
n
Manage group consolidation and analyse monthly financial results.
n
Support year-end audit, corporate modelling and debt covenant reporting.
n
Prepare technical accounting papers and support impairment testing.
n
Perform treasury accounting including foreign currency, derivatives and debt reporting.
n
Prepare and reconcile treasury and master entity journals and accounts.
n
Review balance sheet movements and complete general ledger reconciliations.
n
Assist with budgeting, forecasting and ad-hoc projects.
n




Maintain compliance with company obligations and reporting requirements.
n
Support governance processes for entity structures, general ledger accounts and intercompany relationships.
n

The Successful Applicant
n
A successful Senior Corporate Accountant should have:
n
n
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
n
Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., CPA or CA) are highly regarded
n
Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting processes
n
High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
n
Experience with an ERP
n
Experience in statutory reporting & group consolidations.
n
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
n
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
n
n
