Job Description
Freightlink Couriers are on the search for a full-time Onforwarding Expert for our facility in our Cairns depot.

We are looking for a person to take charge and full ownership of managing all freight which is handed over to our final mile carriers for deliveries to regional areas in FNQ.
n
This role is a mixture of administrative and hands on work on the floor and would suit a person with a strong admin background who also does not want to be behind a desk all day.
n
Key Responsibilities.
n
Prepare all freight (both parcel and bulk) for preparation for delivery to our final mile agents including palletising loose items
n
Prepare paperwork for the freight to travel on which includes a combination of handwritten and digital consignment notes
n
Correctly measuring dimensions of all freight to ensure accurate costings
n
Ensure correct use of scanners and maintaining diligent scanning compliance
n




Building relationships with key contacts at our final mile agents to ensure clear communication and positive relationships
n
Problem solving mindset and can adapt to a very fluid setting
n
Communicate with your team and Operations Manager
n
