Overview

ACRWORLD is representing a specialist organisation, known for its deep expertise in power systems and renewable energy, who are supporting utility-scale solar, wind, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and HV infrastructure developments across Australia.

Responsibilities
n
n
Lead and support commissioning activities on HV substations and renewable energy sites
n
Develop and manage commissioning documentation: plans, schedules, ITPs, ITRs, FAT and SAT
n
Perform SCADA and signal testing, verify control system functionality
n
Test substation primary equipment including CBs, CTs, CVTs, and power transformers
n
Collaborate with engineering, grid compliance, and external stakeholders (TNSPs, AEMO, OEMs)
n
Oversee protected energisation procedures and ensure full compliance with regulations
n
Support reporting, investigations, and model validation testing where required
n

Qualifications
n
n




Degree in Electrical Engineering or Advanced Diploma in Power Systems
n
Minimum 2 years'
commissioning/testing
experience across HV or renewable infrastructure
n
Strong understanding of protection and control systems, substation operation, and grid-connected renewables
n
Familiarity with AEMO guidelines, R2 testing, and GPS compliance (desirable)
n
Experience working under or with Australian TNSPs (Ausnet, Powerlink, Transgrid, Electranet) preferred
n
Excellent communication and reporting skills
n
