About the role
n
Become an integral part of Eastern Health's Allied Health leadership team as a Personal Assistant, providing high-level administrative, secretarial and executive support to our senior leaders. Supporting the Director Allied Health, Allied Health Workforce Director, Allied Health Governance and Practice Director and Director Physiotherapy & Deputy Director Operations Allied Health, Critical Care and Access, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the Allied Health executive function.

Based at the Peter James Centre in Burwood East with occasional travel to other Eastern Health sites, you will coordinate a broad range of executive support activities including diary and meeting management, correspondence, documentation, and stakeholder liaison. This is a varied and rewarding role suited to a highly organised professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative healthcare environment.

About you
n
To be successful in this role you will possess:
n
n
Extensive experience in the provision of high level administrative, secretarial and executive support services to senior executives, including the preparation of agendas,
minutes and providing support to committees as required
n
Ability to display initiative and to work independently as required.
n
Highly developed planning and organisational skills with an ability to efficiently manage time and meet strict deadlines.
n
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal.
n
A commitment to teamwork and maintaining confidentiality.
n
An ability to manage, review, develop and maintain office systems and procedures.
n
n
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in theAustralian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role, and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
