A highly respected Sydney-based chartered firm is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join its private client advisory team.
n
This engagement is strictly confidential. The firm advises some of Australia's most sophisticated high-net-worth individuals, family offices and complex investment structures. The work is technically demanding, discreet and advisory-led.
n
This is not a suburban compliance role. It is a senior technical position requiring judgement, composure and solid tax capability.
n
The Role
n
Working directly with the Partner, you will oversee and manage complex tax affairs across multi-entity structures, trusts, investment vehicles and significant property holdings.
n
Your work will include:
n
n
Structuring and restructuring of private groups
n
Complex trust and distribution planning
n
Division 7A strategy and risk management
n
Capital gains tax advisory across significant transactions
n
Oversight and review of high-level compliance
n




Direct interaction with sophisticated private clients
n
n
You will also mentor senior accountants and help maintain technical standards across the team.
n
About You
n
n
6–12 years Australian public practice experience
n
Strong exposure to private clients, HNW individuals or complex group structures
n
Excellent technical grounding in Australian tax legislation
n
Confident operating in highly confidential environments
n
Calm, polished and commercially astute
n
n
You may currently be a Senior Manager ready for a more refined client base, or an experienced Manager seeking higher-level advisory exposure.
