Base pay range

Clerk Grade: 9/10
n Salary Range: $129,464 - $142,665 plus superannuation and leave loading
n
Employment Type: Full-Time, Ongoing
n Location: Sydney - Hybrid opportunity. In-office requirement 2-3 days a week as a minimum, which could be subject to change based on applicable DCS workplace policies.

About the team
n
Government Shared Services (GSS) is a division in DCS leading streamlined processes and shared services to allow our people to better focus on customers and delivering services. We are delivering a roadmap to leverage technology, streamline processes, replace legacy systems, and deliver a consistent experience to more than 100 agencies across 8 NSW Government Departments.

Join a dynamic team that coordinates audits and compliance and oversees risk frameworks to support secure and high-quality service delivery. The team supports:
n
n
Internal and external audits: including ISO standards, ISMS, Audit Office, CISO
n
Attestations: ASAE **** attestations and deliverables for BPO services
n
Risk Management: CIO-led operational and service continuity risks and ISMS-aligned risk controls
n
n
Responsibilities
n
n
Coordinate and monitor audit and risk activities to ensure timely completion of reviews, compliance actions, and follow-up on findings in line with agreed obligations.
n
Engage with stakeholders and provide expert advice to ensure they understand their responsibilities and contribute to achieving required outcomes on time.
n
Support the development and continuous improvement of systems, tools, and processes that enhance the effectiveness and quality of risk, compliance, and reporting functions.
n
Contribute to the creation and refinement of policies and standards to improve accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of compliance and risk management practices within ICT.
n

About You
n
The successful candidate must demonstrate robust capabilities in:
n
n
Experience with technology teams managing ICT risks and contributing to audit outcomes
n
Experience managing diverse stakeholder groups and coordinating input into responses and delivery plans
n
Experience collaborating with internal and external audit teams to support programs of work
n
n
