We're seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Lead to join our IT team at Dandenong South, in a hands-on leadership role within a highly regulated manufacturing workplace. This role combines deep technical expertise with people leadership, solution design and operational ownership to ensure our infrastructure services are secure, resilient, scalable and compliant.

Reporting to our IT Operations Manager, you'll lead a team of multi-discipline IT Engineers while maintaining a hands-on role in complex troubleshooting, solution delivery and continuous improvement across the IT infrastructure landscape, with physical and virtual hardware, cloud services and understanding of corporate networks.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full lifecycle of IT infrastructure, ensuring resilience, scalability, security and regulatory compliance
n
Lead a team of IT Engineers, fostering collaboration and capability development
n
Act as technical lead on projects, coordinating solution design and implementation
n
Drive continuous improvement, automation and proactive monitoring to maintain system availability
n
Lead incident, problem and change management activities, applying ITIL principles and root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence
n




Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, driving issues to resolution through critical thinking and structured problem-solving
n
Identify and drive infrastructure planning and changes to ensure systems remain in a supported, compliant state
n
Manage vendors and partners delivering infrastructure services
n
Ensure infrastructure operations comply with GxP, quality and regulatory requirements
n
Maintain accurate documentation, standards and operating procedures in line with compliance expectations
n

About you
n
n
Proven experience in IT Infrastructure Lead, Senior Infrastructure or Operational Management roles
n
Strong technical background across physical and virtual servers, cloud platforms, networks and the tools that are used to manage environments
n
Demonstrated experience working in regulated environments (pharmaceutical, manufacturing or similar)
n
Strong understanding of compliance, governance and quality requirements in regulated IT environments
n
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to think critically and drive issues to root cause
n
Skilled in ITIL service management, solution design and stakeholder engagement
n
Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
n
Knowledge of Microsoft technologies (M365, Azure AD, Exchange)
n
ITIL certification (required); Microsoft certifications (highly regarded)
n
