AI Enablement & Governance Manager - Agentic AI Melbourne | Hybrid | $*******K

Our client, a high-growth consumer financial platform, is moving to an AI-first operating model: AI agents absorbing routine work across Sales, Customer Service, Finance and Marketing, built by the business on a governed shared platform. A newly created AI function needs the person who makes that safe and real - equal parts enabler and guardrail.

What you'll own
n
Agent enablement and AI literacy
n
n
Day-to-day, hands-on support for business teams building and refining agents on up-to-date platforms (Claude, Copilot Studio or similar) - you set the prompt and context engineering standards and lift the bar
n
Run workshops and enablement sessions, and build an AI Champions Network that turns pilots into everyday operating habits across non-technical teams
n
n
Deployment oversight, adoption and cost
n
n
Monitor and govern production AI deployments in partnership with IT - usage, adoption and performance dashboards across the agent fleet
n
Own evaluation and monitoring mechanisms (LLM evaluation logs, systematic testing) and keep sharp commercial discipline on model and vendor costs
n

Risk and standards governance
n
n




Own the practical AI risk controls: model bias, data privacy, prompt injection, human-in-the-loop checkpoints
n
Embed AI governance into existing ISO *****, PCI DSS and Australian Privacy Principles frameworks - use-case intake, process alignment and documentation that stands up to audit
n

What you'll bring
n
n
Hands-on experience building agents on at least one major platform (Claude, Copilot Studio, LangChain or similar)
n
A track record supporting production AI deployments and monitoring usage and adoption
n
Dashboarding and analytics strength with working code (Python or SQL)
n
Experience implementing risk monitoring or evaluation for AI/LLM solutions
n
Familiarity with AI governance and compliance frameworks in regulated environments
n
The stakeholder skills to sit between business teams, IT and risk without losing any of them
n

Nice to have
n
n
Anthropic, Microsooft, Azure or OpenAI credentials; AI governance certifications (ISO *****, IAPP AIGP)
n
Degree in engineering, computer science or similar
n
n
