HSE Advisor – Major Multi-Residential Project

Location: Margate, QLD (Site-Based)
n
Salary: Circa $150K + Super + 10% KPI Bonus
n
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are partnering with a highly regarded, privately owned construction developer delivering a landmark multi-residential project in Southeast Queensland. This is a site‐based HSE Advisor role working closely with an experienced project team to drive safety performance and foster a proactive safety culture across a large‐scale development.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Leading day‐to‐day HSE activities across the project site
n
Conducting site inductions, inspections, and audits (SWMS, plant, equipment)
n
Managing incident investigations and corrective actions
n
Driving compliance with WHS legislation and safety management plans
n
Facilitating toolbox talks, pre‐starts, and safety meetings
n
Monitoring subcontractor compliance and safety performance
n
Maintaining safety systems and records (including digital platforms like HammerTech)
n
Promoting continuous improvement and a solid safety‐first culture
n
n
About You
n
You are a proactive and confident HSE professional who thrives in a fast‐paced construction environment. You'll bring:
n
n
Proven experience in a site‐based HSE role within construction (multi‐story / residential / commercial construction)
n
Strong knowledge of QLD WHS legislation and Codes of Practice
n
Experience managing subcontractors on large‐scale projects
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
n
Solid auditing, inspection, and incident investigation capabilities
n
A hands‐on, solutions‐focused approach to safety
n
