The Opportunity

We are looking for a well-rounded, hands-on operator to lead a team and tackle a wide variety of tasks related to commercial air filtration systems. No formal qualifications are necessary-your ability to turn your hand to most things, problem-solve on the fly, and bring a strong work ethic are what matter most to us.

Rainbow Air Systems is a well-established, stable industry leader (operating since ****). We are looking for a hands-on Leading Hand to act as the 2IC to our Service Manager.
n
This isn't an office job-you'll be out in the field, leading a team of five, and ensuring our high standards of air filtration and maintenance are met across hospitals, universities and commercial sites.

Your Role
n
As the "boots on the ground" leader, you will balance technical work with team supervision.
n
Lead the Team:
n
Supervise and mentor 5 Service Techs,



ensuring quality control and timely completion of jobs.
n
Hands-on Technical Work:
n
Installation of air systems components (filtration bays, plenums, ductwork), maintenance and system
audits/inspections.
n
Client Relations:
n
Maintain customer relationships at all levels and identify opportunities for value-added services.
n
Compliance:
n
Oversee safety protocols and prepare post-job reports.
n
About You
n
You are a reliable "can-do" operator who takes pride in a job well done. You don't mind getting your hands dirty, but you also have the communication skills to manage a team and talk to clients.
n
Experience
n
Broad hands-on trade/construction experience that can turn a hand to varied tasks - "a jack of all trades". Some experience with air systems.
n
Leadership
n
Ready to take the next step or proven experience supervising staff or leading a crew on-site.
n
Fitness
n
Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and handle bulky filtration items.
n
Credentials
n
Valid Driver's License and White Card. Experience in quoting/estimating is a major plus.
n
