The purpose of this role
n
As a Security Test Lead at Bupa Technology, you will lead the quality assurance of security across enterprise applications, APIs, cloudplatformsand CI/CD pipelines. This technical leadership roleis responsible fordefining and driving security testing strategies, vulnerability
management,DevSecOpsintegration
and security automation practices across multiple delivery teams. You will ensure Bupa releases meet the highest security standards while enabling teams to deliver securely, efficiently and at scale.

champion an automation-first approach. You will partner with
engineering,securityand
business stakeholders to
proactivelyidentify,assessand
mitigate security risks while improving security maturity across theorganisation.

Whatyou'llneed to make it possible
n
n
8+ years of experience in Security Testing, Application Security,
PenetrationTestingor
Security Engineering.
n
Degree in Information Security, Cyber Security or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
n
Professional
securitycertificationsuch
as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CSSLP, GWAPT, GPEN, OSCP, OSWE, CEH oreWPT.
n
Hands-onexpertisein penetration testing of web, desktop,APIand cloud-based applications.
n
Strong knowledge of SAST, DAST, SCA,IaCscanning,
containersecurityand
secure SDLC practices.
n
Experience integrating security testing into Azure DevOps,
CI/CDpipelinesandDevSecOpsenvironments.
n




Proven leadership experience mentoring teams and driving security testing strategies across complex programs.
n
Experience
withCheckmarx,NexusIQ,
SonarQube and security automation frameworks.
n
Strong stakeholder
management,communicationand
influencing skills.
n
Experience working in regulated industries such as healthcare or financial services will be highly regarded.

Key responsibilities

Lead end-to-end security testing activities across programs and delivery teams.
n
Define security test strategies and ensure consistent execution across ST, SIT, UAT and PVT phases.
n
Perform security assessments,
penetrationtestingand
secure code reviews.
n
Drive adoption of security automation
andDevSecOpspractices.
n
Lead proof-of-concepts and evaluation of security testing tools and platforms.
n
Facilitate threat modelling,
vulnerabilitymanagementand
risk mitigation activities.
n
Mentor quality engineering teams and promote security-first practices.
n
Collaborate with
development,DevOpsand
security teams to improve security outcomes.
n
Ensureaccuratereporting,
auditreadinessand regulatory compliance.
n
