Casual Veterinary Nurse Wanted - Work Where Others Holiday!

Rosebud Pet Vet has an opportunity for a highly motivated, caring and outgoing nurse to join our fun and supportive team. Our clinic is located on the beach, 100m from Rosebud Pier. Think... lunch breaks in the sun!

The position requires you to:
n
n
Admit & prepare patients for surgery while easing the minds of nervous pet parents
n
Monitor anesthetics and recover patients
n
Educate pet owners in nurse consultations - such as dental and weight consults
n
Clean and maintain equipment
n
Keep the clinic organised, efficient and sparkling clean
n
Carry out reception duties including triaging (aka sorting real emergencies from "he sneezed twice" emergencies)
n
Be available to work evenings until 6:30pm and Saturday mornings
n
n
Qualification not necessary but previous experience is strongly preferred.
n

Loves animals and is confident to advocate for them
n
Brings fun and a "let's do this" energy everyday
n
Has a strong work ethic and good sense of humor
n
Is kind, reliable & a team player
n
Has good organisation & communication skills (loves a label maker, laminator, highlighter and making 'to-do' lists)
