We're recruiting for an experienced Senior Landscape Officer to join a high-performing team responsible for shaping the landscape outcomes of major residential developments and public realm projects.
n
The Opportunity: Working alongside developers, landscape architects, planners and engineering teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring subdivision landscaping delivers high-quality, sustainable and liveable communities.
n
This is an excellent prospect for someone who enjoys a balance of technical assessment, stakeholder engagement and strategic input into future landscape outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Assess and approve detailed landscape design plans for subdivisions, including streetscapes, tree reserves, parks and open space, ensuring they align with approved masterplans, Council standards and industry best practice.
n
Review landscape masterplans, streetscape designs and construction issue plans.
n
Provide expert advice on plant selection, green infrastructure and landscape design standards.
n
Liaise with developers,



consultants and internal stakeholders throughout the planning process.
n
Contribute to Development Plans, Precinct Structure Plans, Master Plans and other strategic planning initiatives.
n
Provide technical advice on planning referrals, compliance matters and landscape-related enquiries.
n
Assist with the development and review of landscape policies, standards and guidelines.
n

Qualifications
n
n
Qualifications in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, Horticulture or a related discipline.
n
Demonstrated experience assessing landscape plans within a local government, consultancy or development environment.
n
Strong understanding of landscape construction principles, Australian Standards and horticultural best practice.
n
Experience interpreting landscape architectural drawings and subdivision documentation.
n
Excellent stakeholder engagement and written communication skills.
n
Current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain) and National Police Check.
