The Opportunity

As a Principal Geo‐Environmental Engineer you'll take on a pivotal leadership role—driving technical excellence, mentoring talent and building enduring client partnerships. You will get immediate exposure to complex, career‐defining projects across Queensland.

What You'll Do
n
n
Lead the design and delivery of complex geo‐environmental projects across:n
n
Landfill and containment systems
n
Tailings and mining infrastructure
n
Dams, embankments and earth structures
n
Waste and resource recovery facilities
n
n
Provide trusted technical leadership on high‐risk, high‐value projects
n
Drive innovative, sustainable solutions that integrate environmental outcomes into major infrastructure
n
Oversee project performance (technical,



commercial, risk) from concept through delivery
n
Build long‐term client relationships across Queensland and nationally
n
Mentor and grow a high‐performing multidisciplinary team
n
Contribute to strategic growth and market positioning in geo‐environmental engineering
n
n
About You
n
n
Degree in Civil, Geotechnical or Environmental Engineering
n
10+ years' experience, ideally within consulting
n
Strong background in waste and containment design (landfills, liners, leachate systems, geosynthetics)
n
Proven capability in detailed design and technical review
n
Experience with earthworks, dams, tailings and water management systems
n
Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence key stakeholders
n
Track record of winning work, building client trust or contributing to growth (highly valued)
n
