The Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency (VACCA) is an Aboriginal Community-Controlled organisation that supports and advocates for the Aboriginal Community and is the largest organisation of its kind in Australia.

About the role
Lead and support a dedicated team delivering Care Services and Cultural Programs across Eastern VACCA.
In this role, you will help strengthen outcomes for Aboriginal children, families and communities by providing leadership, guidance and oversight of service delivery, partnerships, compliance and program performance.
You will empower staff through supervision, development opportunities and culturally safe practice, ensuring services are responsive, high quality and community focused.
About You
You are a strong and culturally aware leader who is passionate about supporting Aboriginal children, families and communities to thrive.
You bring experience leading teams, building partnerships and delivering high quality community services that create meaningful outcomes.
You are confident managing program performance, funding, compliance and reporting, while supporting staff through mentoring, supervision and professional development.
With a commitment to cultural safety, continuous improvement and community led practice, you can balance strategic leadership with day-to-day operational oversight to ensure services remain responsive, effective and impactful.
Requirements
Qualifications in Social Work or Community Services or related discipline
Leadership experience within the Community Services sector
Experience working within an ACCO is desirable.
Valid Police Check, a Victorian Working with Children's Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence.
Current COVID-19 vaccination (Strongly Recommended)
