Purpose
n
Lead the delivery of business and technology initiatives across the organisation, ensuring structured, predictable and outcome-driven execution. This role establishes and governs the portfolio delivery framework, enabling prioritisation, alignment and successful implementation of initiatives that drive business value and customer outcomes.
n
The role is accountable for portfolio governance, delivery discipline and business engagement, supported by a team of Project Delivery Specialists to coordinate execution and ensure consistent delivery practices across Technology and the business.

Stakeholders

Internal: C‐Suite, Department Heads & Managers, Board of Directors and the wider VRC team.
n
External: VRC Members, Customers & Clients, Suppliers & Vendors, and Industry Networks & Associations.
n
Focus
n
n
Partner with executive stakeholders to evaluate, prioritise and sequence initiatives across the portfolio, ensuring investment decisions align to strategic objectives, delivery capacity and measurable business value.
n
Oversee the delivery of projects and initiatives across the portfolio, maintaining visibility of schedules, scope, risks, dependencies and deliverables to achieve predictable, high‐quality outcomes.
n
Facilitate governance forums, steering committees and executive reporting, providing clear visibility of progress, risks, dependencies and decisions to support informed prioritisation and timely escalation.
n
Lead coordination of major releases and go‐lives, ensuring business readiness,



effective communication and smooth transition into operations, while driving ongoing improvements in delivery processes, tools and ways of working.
n
Work closely with stakeholders and delivery teams to shape, prioritise and maintain initiatives, features, requirements and acceptance criteria that align to business goals, customer needs and desired outcomes.
n
Lead and develop a small team of Project Delivery Specialists, building delivery capability, consistency and accountability through clear direction, coaching and support.
n

Leadership, coaching and development of delivery teams

Strong governance, reporting and organisational skills

Experience establishing and improving PMO or portfolio delivery practices

Vendor, supplier and commercial engagement experience
