Opporutnity for a Legal Counsel to join a high-performing Australian legal team within a leading global property group, supporting complex industrial, commercial, and mixed-use development projects. About the Role
n
Reporting to the General Manager – Legal Australia, you will work closely with the legal team and senior business stakeholders, advising across the full property lifecycle, from land acquisition through to development, leasing, divestments, and settlement. You will have meaningful involvement in major projects, providing pragmatic, commercially focused advice to enable successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Draft, review and negotiate documentation for construction, consultancy, and development projects.
n
Advise on land acquisitions, estate land sales, divestments, and major project transactions.
n
Support commercial and industrial leasing matters, including agreements for lease and finalisation of leasing documentation.
n
Manage due diligence processes, including coordination of data rooms and Q&A.;
n
Prepare and maintain precedents, templates, and confidentiality agreements in line with risk parameters.
n
Work collaboratively with business teams to find practical solutions that balance legal risk and commercial objectives.
n
Liaise with and manage external legal advisers.
n
n
About You:
n
n
5+ years' PQE in a law firm or in-house setting, with a robust property focus.
n
Experience in leasing, acquisitions,



and large-scale property transactions.
n
Commercial acumen and a collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement.
n
Strong drafting skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
n
Admitted to practise in Australia with a current practising certificate.
n
n
