Senior Contract Administrator - Builder / Developer - Up to $230,000 + Super

I'm working on behalf of a highly successful Queensland-owned builder/developer that has established itself as one of the state's leading privately owned construction businesses.

Turning over $150M+ annually, the business has built an enviable reputation delivering high-quality commercial and multi-residential developments, with the added security of developing many of its own projects.
n
Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join the team on a $35 million project.
n
The Role
n
You'll take ownership of the commercial management of the project from procurement through to final accounts, working closely with an experienced Project Manager and site team to ensure a successful commercial outcome.
n
This is a genuine opportunity to join a builder/developer with a long-term pipeline of work, strong financial backing and a reputation for promoting from within.

Responsibilities

Manage the commercial administration of the project from procurement through to final accounts
n
Let and administer subcontract packages
n
Prepare and maintain cost reports,



forecasts and project budgets
n
Assess subcontractor claims, progress claims and variations
n
Negotiate commercial outcomes with subcontractors and suppliers
n
Work closely with the delivery team to achieve programme and financial objectives
n
Build strong relationships with consultants, subcontractors and key stakeholders
n

About You
n
n
Proven experience as a CA / Senior CA with a commercial builder
n
Robust commercial and contractual knowledge
n
Experience delivering projects valued $20M-$50M+
n
Able to operate autonomously and drive commercial outcomes
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
Stable employment history with reputable contractors
n
