Qualified Diesel Mechanic – Workshop & Field Service

JV Hire Group, working alongside JV Mechanical, is a small, dynamic business servicing trucks, trailers, buses, and earthmoving machinery across Melbourne. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our team in a full-time role, based in both our workshop and field service.

About the Role

Carry out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of heavy vehicles and machinery
n
Workshop-based and field service work across Melbourne
n
Work independently and as part of a close-knit team
n
Complete job documentation accurately and on timen
About You
n
Qualifications
n
n
Certificate III in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent
n
Minimum 2 years' post-trade experience
n
Current driver's licence
n
HR/HC licence (advantageous but not essential)
n
n
Skills & Attributes
n
n




Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
n
Basic electrical diagnostics and wiring knowledge
n
Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn
n
Good communication skills
n
Comfortable using tablets and basic computer systems
n
Willing to take on leadership responsibilities as required
n
Takes pride in quality work and a clean, safe workplace
n
