About the Role
n
As the Senior Application & Systems Developer, you will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and corporate services to identify requirements, solve complex problems, and deliver high‐quality outcomes.
n
You will be responsible for:




n
n
Delivering enhancements, changes, and application updates using Agile delivery methodologies
n
Collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to analyse issues and define solutions
n
Contributing innovative ideas and recommendations to address short, medium, and long‐term challenges
n
Supporting compliance with organisational policies, governance, risk, and security requirements
n
Redeveloping, enhancing, and maintaining .NET applications
n
Redeveloping and maintaining Microsoft Word templates, including macro and non‐macro solutions
n
Developing and supporting web‐based applications, systems, and reporting solutions
n
Assisting with planning, testing, documentation, and deployment of application updates
n
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the application landscape
n
n
Technical Skills & Experience
n
To be successful, you will demonstrate experience across:
n
n
C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core and the broader .NET technology stack
n
Visual Studio development environment
n
Microsoft Web API and RESTful architecture
n
SQL Server
n
CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
n
Automated testing frameworks
n
Web application development and support
n
Microsoft Word template development and maintenance
n
n
Essential Requirements




n
You will have:
n
n
Previous experience working within government or large‐scale service delivery environments
n
A proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in fast‐paced, changing environments
n
Experience working within Agile delivery teams using Jira, ServiceNow, or similar tools
n
Strong problem‐solving, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills
n
The ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes
n
A team-oriented and adaptable approach to working across business and technology teams
n
n
Contract Details
n

Initial 12‐month contract
n
Two additional 12‐month extension options
n
Up to 40 hours per week
n
Hybrid working arrangement with occasional office attendance for workshops and meetings
n
Locations available across NSW, VIC and QLD
n
Estimated start date: September ****
n
Police check required
n
Must hold a Baseline Security Clearance
