Paragon Talent Solutions has been engaged to assist several Australian-owned System Integrators who provide electrical and industrial automation solutions to a broad client base across Australia.

Due to continued project demand, these organisations are expanding their engineering capability in Melbourne and have fantastic opportunities available for Control Systems Engineers.
n
These are permanent positions based in Melbourne, where successful candidates will support the delivery of industrial automation projects across a range of industries, including Data Centres, Manufacturing and Water/Wastewater environments.

The Position
n
These opportunities will suit Control Systems Engineers who enjoy delivering automation projects across industrial environments and want exposure to a variety of technologies, industries and complex engineering challenges.
n
As a Control Systems Engineer you will be responsible for:
n
n
Functional design of control systems across a range of projects and industries
n
Developing new PLC, SCADA and HMI systems as well as supporting and maintaining existing client systems
n
Ensuring real-time data availability and that control mechanisms are operating effectively and efficiently for system operations and network development
n
Configuration, testing and commissioning of control systems in the field
n
Working closely with clients to understand their requirements and develop automation solutions to suit their needs
n
Providing technical knowledge to clients and clearly articulating control system solutions
n




Acting as a key point of contact for project-related queries
n
n

Your Experience
n
To be considered for these positions, you will likely have experience delivering industrial automation and control systems projects within environments such as data centres, manufacturing, water/wastewater or other heavy industrial sectors.
n
You will also possess:
n
n
A degree or diploma in Computer Sciences, Computing, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or similar
n
Robust competence with SCADA and PLC technologies
n
Experience across the control systems project lifecycle including design, configuration and commissioning
n
The ability to troubleshoot systems and clearly articulate technical solutions to clients
n
Knowledge of Schneider Electric, Siemens, Rockwell, Ignition or similar control systems technologies
n
Strong stakeholder management capabilities
n
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
n
n
