Overview

Join City of Moreton Bay as a Principal Transport Engineer. This is a senior, full-time role focused on providing expert engineering input into transport infrastructure projects to meet community needs, delivering concept designs, briefs, and project coordination for capital works.

Base pay range: A$112,******/yr – A$150,******/yr.

What you'll do
n
n
Provide expert advice grounded in best-practice transport design, standards, and Council policies.
n
Assist in developing concept designs that respond to real user needs.
n
Prepare and review detailed design briefs to guide internal and external teams.
n
Collaborate across the team, coach and support other teammates, and manage time and stakeholder communications.
n
Review civil engineering design plans to ensure compliance with relevant standards, ensuring value for money for the community.
n
Certify engineering designs as an expert in your field.
n

About you / Qualifications
n
n
Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
n
Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) or ability to obtain within the first 12 months of employment.
n
Current "C" Class Driver's Licence.
n
