Role Overview

Clinical Psychologist – Grade 2/3 (full‐time or part‐time). Location: Wagga Wagga, New South Wales. The successful candidate will work within St John of God Health Care's Mental Health Satellite Site as part of a team providing trauma‐focused care for veterans, first responders and ADF members.

Responsibilities
n
n
Deliver individualised and group clinical care in accordance with current ethical practice.
n
Conduct comprehensive assessment and create care plans, monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment as required.
n
Evaluate clinical outcomes and participate in research activities to inform service delivery.
n
Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary staff and providing verbal and written feedback to referring doctors.
n
Maintain confidentiality and uphold legal and ethical responsibilities.
n
Engage in regular clinical supervision and pursue ongoing professional development.
n

Qualifications
n
n
Registered psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).
n
Post‐graduate experience working with groups and individuals with a range of concerns.
n
Experience with ADF members, first responders, emergency services and veterans with PTSD is highly regarded.
n

Salary band 2–3: $79,551 to $139,754 (pro‐rated for part‐time).
